Food looks wonderful but their google add needs to be updated. Drove 30 minutes to try their food and they were unfortunately closed when google said they wouldn't b3 closed until 2 am
Loved the food here. If you like how the East coast does Mac n cheese this will be your new favorite spot. Everything is well seasoned (not overly salty). Their turkey wings were “falling off the boa tender”.
Customer service = very poor Food taste or quality = ok Who eats shrimp and fish with out any type of dipping sauce plus they assume you are going to eat everything with your hands = No plastic wear. The 2 drink options are frozen drinks,I got a raspberry lemonade...absolutely trash
Best soul food so good like omg !!! Houston do not have soul food that really reminds me of southern cooking ! This is definitely a place to give a try
My first time trying i only ate the sides cause i air fried chicken and was being lazy and boy boy boy how the HE!! Do you make salty macaroni and i ordered 2 ! I mean salty ! Ian never had salty macaroni baby i was mad ! The collard greens was okay i added a lil vinegar and sugar what got me the most is salty sides means salty meats
There’s been multiple times I’ve tried coming up there and ya’ll weren’t open. The inconsistency with being open and closed is very deterring. I tried a lot of the menu so far and I like my food seasoned but I feel like there’s way too much sodium across the meal and the sides. I think over seasoning everything can become too much when you’ve started taking a few bites in. I feel like the best thing there is the banana pudding honestly. That was the only thing that made me go back but the last time I tried to go ya’ll weren’t open. At this point I’m done trying with this food truck. The white girl that works the front window tho is so sweet and has great customer service and the lady that does the desserts is amazing as well. I just hope ya’ll can get some consistency and constantly taste the food before it’s served because the salt can be overbearing.
Food was so good put us straight to sleep. Service was 10/10. I was so excited to finally try definitely will be back
Going here tasted like being back home in philly ! The garlic parm and lemon pepper wing dings were so flavorful and juicy and the fried pork chops were so good they even smothered them in a home made gravy that combined so well together. The baked mac was cooked to perfection along with the yams. The banana pudding was so yummy and so was the peach cobbler donut. The employees and owners were so genuine. Definitely will be back very soon!!
